🔄 Update – September 30, 2025

We’ve had more reports from customers about scam sites copying our content and pretending to be us. One recent fake was called Yamyum.store, which even stole chunks of our Privacy Policy and product menus word for word from snacksonline.co.uk.

If you see offers that look impossible (like 38 Crunchie bars for £1.99), it’s bait. No genuine business can sell at that price. Always double-check the website address — our only official sites are:

  • snacksonline.co.uk
  • cinemasnacks.co.uk

Anything else is a scam. If you get caught out, contact your bank immediately and report it to Action Fraud.

Thanks to everyone who’s been sending us screenshots — every tip helps us report and shut these sites down faster. Keep them coming.

We’ve seen it, you’ve maybe seen it — a site pops up selling chocolate boxes the size of your car boot for £3.99, or Pringles cheaper than bottled water. Sounds brilliant, right? Only problem is… it’s a total con.

More and more fake websites are pretending to be UK snack shops, luring people in with crazy prices, flashing "LIMITED TIME ONLY!" banners, and a checkout that seems fishy (because it is). They look like the real deal but they're just after your card details.

So, let’s make sure you know what to look out for. And most importantly — let’s make sure you’re on the right site (spoiler: it’s snacksonline.co.uk).

🕵️♂️ Scam Sites We’ve Spotted (and Why They Stink)

  • Snacksukworld.store, snacksworlduk.shop, snacksstree.shop – They all look the same. Same layout. Same wild discounts. Same lies. We’ve seen “£3.99 for 71 Nestlé bars” – mate, the postage would cost more than that!

  • Fake UK addresses – One even listed “41 Crescent Avenue, UK, Drybeck.” Sounds posh. Doesn’t exist.

  • Typos galore – “Top Sallers”? Come on. If they can’t spell, they probably can’t ship.

  • People never get their orders – Surprise! One poor soul had £100 nicked off their card, and another site tried to take £200 more. This is the snack version of daylight robbery.

  • Dodgy Amazon logins – Some fake shops even ask you to log into your Amazon account to get free shipping. But the URL is something like www.amazonuhb.copyescape.com — looks legit, right? Wrong. That’s a phishing site.

🚩 Red Flags to Watch For

  1. Everything’s on sale, all the time – 90% off on everything? That’s not a sale, that’s bait.

  2. Strange web addresses – We’re snacksonline.co.uk. If it’s snackmagic.shop.biz.ru.co – slam the brakes.

  3. Copycat branding – They use the same product photos as us. Same fonts. But if it smells fishy, it probably is.

Hi Tracy and Anya,

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experiences here — it really helps shine a light on how these scam sites operate.

Tracy, I’m sorry to hear you’ve been caught by one of them. The best step is to contact your bank or card provider right away and request a chargeback, or raise a case if you used PayPal. It’s also worth reporting the site to Action Fraud using their official page here: https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/reporting-fraud-and-cyber-crime
.
Anya, the details you spotted — the fake “41 Crescent Avenue” address and the daft prices — are exactly the kind of red flags people need to watch out for. Thanks for calling it out and spreading the word. When I mentioned “URL” I just meant the web address at the top of your browser, like snacksonline.co.uk for us. If you still have the link, you can also pass it to Action Fraud on that page to help get it shut down.

Really appreciate you both sharing this — it keeps others safe and makes it harder for the scammers to get away with it.

All the best,
Frank – Snacks Online
